Guide to Learning the Game of Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun sport for all ages and all genders combining many elements of racket sports like badminton, tennis and ping-pong. It is played both indoors and outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. When playing pickleball, each player will need a pickleball paddle, which is smaller than a tennis racquet but larger than a ping-pong paddle and a plastic type wiffle ball. The game can be played either singles (2 players, one player on each side) or doubles (4 players, two players on each side) with doubles being the most popular format.
